What are your store hours?

How can I contact you?

Can I put an item on hold?

We can hold certain products for one day at most.  If you are interested in a certain product and would like us to hold it for a short time, please either call us directly at 604-445-0825 or email us at shop@yumo.ca.

When will x item be restocked?

Depending on the product, there may be no estimated time of arrival. However, you may email us inquiring restock information for a certain product and we can take a look. You may also go under a specific product and sign up for the “email me when available” on the product page in order to get notified when we restock that product! Rackets

How long does it take to get my racket restrung?

Whether it be badminton, tennis, or squash, we provide stringing services for our customers locally. The wait time typically ranges from 1-3 business days (may differ during high season). However, we do have a rush service where if you pay an additional $10 per racket, you can skip the queue! This allows you to pick up the racket in about a hour from drop off time or the time our staff has indicated.

I own a racket I no longer use, can I trade it in?

We have a trade-in program for badminton rackets, locals only. The racket must be brought to the store as we need to inspect it in person. Depending on the racket and its condition, we will provide a value and you can use this value towards purchasing a new racket in the store. If you are unsure if we will take your specific racket (the racket model), feel free to call us directly at 604-445-0825 or email us at shop@yumo.ca

Orders

I just placed my order, when will my items be shipped?

Our most updated handling time is displayed on top of our website. What this means is that your order will highly likely be shipped out within this time frame if all items are in stock in store! For express/rush inquiries, please email us at shop@yumo.ca with your order number.

I just placed an online order for pick up, can I come pick up now?

When your order is ready for pick up, we will send an email notification or give you a call to notify you for pick up! Before such notification, your order will not be ready for pick up.

My online order is ready for pick up, is there a deadline for it?

Yumo Pro Shop can hold your online order for up to three months! If the order is not picked up within three months, your order will be cancelled, items back up for sale, and a refund in store credit will be issued. If you need an extension on this, please let us know through email at shop@yumo.ca.

Can I cancel my order?

Charges will apply depending on the stage of your order. At minimum, there will be a $2 transaction fee. Please refer to https://yumo.ca/pages/return-warranty-policy for the different prices by stage of order.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

How do I qualify for free shipping?

If your subtotal is over $200 CAD before tax, you qualify for free standard shipping within Canada*. $250 CAD and above for free standard shipping to the United States. *can be subject to surcharge and/or shipping cost depending on area. Please refer to: https://yumo.ca/pages/shipping-policy

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

How do I start a return/exchange for my order?

Yumo offers return/exchange for customers within 14 days of purchase (in-store) or receiving their order (online). All refunds are in Store Credit or an exchange for different sizes/products. This does not apply for products that are on sale, accessories, and shuttles, meaning that such products are final sale, no returns or exchanges. Some examples of what is within the accessories category, and is not limited to, is the following: socks, grips, muscle/joint support products, and wrist/headbands. I think my product is defective, what do I do?

All rackets purchased from Yumo Pro Shop have a 6 month manufacturer warranty starting from the day that it was purchased. This warranty covers Manufacturer defects only and does not cover accidental damage. As such, it is NOT 100% guaranteed that a claim will yield a new racket. For situations where Yonex, Victor, Li-Ning, Babolat, etc., decide that a racket has a manufacturer defect, the company will provide a new racket (frame only).  Please do not cut the string as this voids all warranty.  This process usually takes approximately 8-12 weeks. For shoes, the manufacturer warranty period is 30 days - 3 months, depending on brand, from purchase or receival of purchase. Please email us at shop@yumo.ca for such matters and we can assist you with how to proceed in claiming manufacturer defects. Please note customers are responsible for all shipping & handling costs for warranty claims.
